Fun With Job Trends

This morning I had some fun creating job trend graphs using Indeed.

It’s not terribly scientific, and I knew what the results would be, but still fun.

For example, look at the comparison between plain ol’ Ruby and Rails. No big surprise.

I was slightly surprised to see .NET ahead of Java, but since I live in a Java town it’s hard to see reality sometimes.

There were no surprises looking within Java jobs, where even the basic Servlets beat out Swing.

The depressing fact is the EJB made it as high as it did.
